EASI Webcast: Strategies for Creating a Barrier-free Virtual Library.
Presentation by Axel Schmetke
http://www.rit.edu/~easi

Axel Schmetke, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point librarian talks about
ways in which virtual libraries can ensure that all users, including those
with disabilities, can gain access to their online information.

EASI's online courses for August will be of interest to librarians:

Beginner Barrier-free Web Design which has two components: first provides
an understanding of accessible web design and second provides hands-on
experience in using software tools to repair inaccessible pages.

Barrier-free "E-learning relates both to distance courses and to hybrid
courses. Librarians are increasingly serving faculty and students in these
online courses.
