Thank for your answer Drew Dunn and Dave Gillett.
This is exactly the king of info that I need.
Considering your recommendation, I would use NETGEAR 8-PORT DS108NA 10/100
AUTOSENSING Hub. Do the 10/100 AUTOSENSING future may cause performance
degradation?
I Also Would go for 100Mb RJ-45 while possible. For my 386/486 I will use
10Mb as there's no other way! Is that true? Unless I find better, I will
probably use Netgear FA310TX NIC as it seem cheaper than the Intel one.
In case where the 10/100 autosensing Hub would not perform well, Could the
following setup work properly or this is a no sence?

Computer A --------| 100Mh Hub |------------- Computer C

I also miss information about ISA 10Mh NIC and about the cables needed for a
100/10Mh RJ-45 ethernet network and the care that must be taken.
Thank!
