Hello all-
My aunt just purchases a PII 350 barbones. I installed all of the hardware
that she needed and began to install Windows 98. At the first restart (The
"Starting Windows 98 for the first time" splash screen appears) the
computer seems to lock up. So I hit "escape" and it shows that I have this
error message: "Your program caused a divide overflow error. If the
problem persists, contanct your program vendor." I have no idea what this
error message is, this is my first PII system, so all anything you can
contribute would be great. I have composed about 3 or 5 socket 7 type
systems. Here are the specs, if you need any addidtiontal information
please e-mail me.
Azza Motherboard (Intel 440 BX chipset)
Pentium 2 350 (3.5x * 100bus speed in bios)
64 MB SDRAM PC100
WD ~3g. Harddrive
8X cdrom
8 meg onboard video
onboard sound
Hopefully i'm just missing something simple and nothing is bad.
Thanks a lot!
Eric Rozner
