A ground in the system can do this - not even the fan in the power supply
comes on?
Check all your connections and look to see if the motherboard might be
grounding out, or you've got some metal contacting the case somewhere.
Good luck!

Subject: [PCBUILD] No power to system - power connections secure
Greetings listers,
I recently threw together a P233 from spare parts. All the power
connections that I know to connect are secure, but when I turn the power on,
the
power LED blinks one briefly and the power supply doesn't come on. It's an
AT
mobo and I was careful to insert the power connectors to the power supply
correctly (with the black wires to the inside). Outside of a rotten power
supply, can someone shed some light on why this is happpening? Any help is
appreciated.
