I recently installed CD burners in 2 of my computers, one a Ricoh
7040(4x4x20, SCSI) and the other a Memorex 2216(2x2x16, IDE). The Ricoh
came with 20 CD-RW disks and the Memorex with 1. The memorex disk works
fine on either machine, but the Ricoh disks(no brand markings, just a
number) don't work on the Memorex(can't read them, but can write them). I
need to buy some disks, CDR and RW, and I prefer disks that work on both
machines and other machines as well (far as possible). Is there any site
that does testing in this regard, so I can avoid trial and error
testing/costs? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks, Edna Sloan
