For most of human history, before canning and modern transportation
systems changed things, humans ate virtually no vegetable material during
winter. For most of the world during winter(and without modern
technology), all that is available is the meat of animals and the fat
they stored during summer. When you eat this way it signals the body to
consume your own stores of body fat.

A human can be very healthy eating nothing but meat and animal fat. A
clinical experiment on this was conducted at Belvue Hospital in NYC and
the subjects tested were found to improve their health considerable (see
Leib JAMA article in the bibliography at my web site for details).

Several "NeanderThins" have taken this approach to speed weight loss.
Recently one such reader (who I see nearly every day)has been doing this
by eating 2-3 pounds of fatty red meat every day for seven months. So
far he's lost 128 lbs. and has shown considerable improvement in
cholesterol, blood pressure and endurance. As long as the meat is not
overcooked, no vitamin or mineral suppliments are required to do this.

This carnivore diet also has the pleasant side effect of killing all of
the intestinal flora involved in the process of vegetable digestion
(fermentation) by starvation. This is a sure way to get rid of yeast in
a matter of just a few days!

Eskimos have been eating this way for thousands of years - with no ill
effects!
