Actually this is disputed in the May issue of the Lancet which shows
heart disease to be the #1 killer in these countries.  Cancer rates were
also shown to be much higher in these countries than previously thought
and in some of these places (ie China) higher than ours!

Soybeans are very profitable!  A friend of mine helped to discover how to
extract lethicin from soy waste in the 1940s.  His employer was delighted
to find a use for 100s of tons they had accumulated in a hugh pile (they
are still producing lethicin from this same pile)!
