Ron Hoggan has an article at his web site that points to gluten as being a
cause of gall bladder problems. CCK (cholecystokinin) is the hormone
responsible for gall bladder contraction. The bulk of this hormone is
produced in the duodenum. But the duodenum mucosa is what gluten damages.
So yes, the current craze for pasta could be causing more gall bladder
problems.
