I'd just like to put in my 2 cents about diets. Admittedly, I am thin
but I think far too much attention is paid to thinness today, we are
obsessed with thinness. I would love to gain some weight.

In any case, why not just eat a balanced diet and everything in
moderation? Some protein and some fat is good, it depends on the kind
of fat you eat. The only fats I eat are olive oil and butter. Some
fat is needed for energy and to aid digestion. Also I feel that a body
need lean meat at least once a day, especially those of us on a gf
diet. Dont we need some carbs also? My husband lost weight just by
eating less of everything and no saturated fats. Whats wrong with
moderation?
