My family doctor has retired and we have a new GP. I saw him today and he has
taken blood samples. I have been on a GF/CF diet for 4 weeks now (and feel
and look fantastic!), what I want to know is if the tests will have "mixed"
readings since I am already on the GF diet? I was diagnosed as coeliac by a
consultant specialist - She said I have DH also and did not take full blood
tests, just rapid tests.

The Doc says he doesn't believe in the endoscopy test as it is too
subjective! Ho hum......

Since becoming GF I have been told of various other family members who
"didn't eat bread" or "were right parky" about what they ate, or "she brought
her own food". Looks like it might be genetic to me.............and my
Great-Great Grandmother had 16 children many of which "failed to thrive" and
died in infancy after going onto solid food. Her daughter (my
Great-Grandmother) was one who "didn't eat bread".

Helen in Durham.
