Dear Listmates:

I have a friend who is not a celiac who swears by colon hydrotherapy,
and I thought it would help my po', abused colon. I have been
gluten-free for eight months but I still have a recurrent problem with
what I think is candida, since my gf crackers and fruit cause the
"grumbles and gas" and extreme fatigue. Of course, it doesn't help to
sabotage myself with meds a homeopath gave me that contain Malt
(sprouts), along with astragalus and other things to help my immune
system. He puts his own label over the original label and I (sigh)
trusted him. Yes, I'm an idiot. I've been extremely sick with reflux,
grumbles, gas, fatigue, depression, for the last three days and will be
calling their office soon enough (I stopped taking them yesterday).

My question is, has anyone benefited from colon hydrotherapy? Any
cautions? Any other suggestions for the treatment of candida other than
avoiding the simple sugars?

And I've set my font to Courier and the size to 12, so I hope this
message comes out without all the garbage of equal signs and unwanted
numbers rearing their ugly heads. :-0
