Yes Micropolis is finally dead.  But  they built very good drives. Have one
of theirs that's been running for 6 years straight  - rock solid and happy.
 I think the price is right and if you practice good back-up procedures
like we all do you never have to fear a failure.  I would say buy it or
send the name and address of vendor and I'll buy it...
