To decafinate tea: Pour two cups of hot water. Place teabag in one. After
thirty seconds, remove teabag and place in in the second cup. Let tea steep
as usual.
Cafine goes into solution in hot water much faster than do the the
flavonoids in tea. This fact is the principle behind the steam method of
decafination used for both tea and coffee.
