This is great news.  I was told and didn't check it out, that yams are
in the same class as sweet potato.  I love them for dessert which is
limited to once a week for me.  I had no trouble giving up grains,
bread, processed food etc. but I had a lot of trouble giving up yams.  I
love them for that sweet craving.  It beats pie or cake. Now I won't
give it a second thought.  I've never had joint pain with yams, only the
other potatoes.  That should have told me something.....   Duh!  Thanks
for the info!
