Cottonseed oil is also contaminated with gossypol, a toxin which,
among other things, has a profound anti-fertility effect. Refinement
removes *most* gossypol...

Ironic that Micky Dee's changed from tallow to hydrogenated veg oil
based on public pressure. Now we know better about TFAs etc... but
will they change back to tallow? Their own food chemists & tasters
resisted the original change -- people preferred the animal fat taste.
