Dear Ann,
> I've been lurking on this list for awhile and learning a lot.
Welcome aboard!
>Do you believe that hunter-gatherers ate/eat such a low
>carbohydrate diet that they were/are regularly in ketosis?
I think they ate whatever did not eat them. But without grains and a semi
active lifestyle, they may have drifted in and out of ketosis. Summer -
fruits are ripe - pig out and no more ketosis, winter eat dried whatever,
meat, etc. probably back in ketosis.
> Questions: Do people here stay in ketosis when eating generous

I would doubt it. Most people seem to get kicked out of ketosis when they
eat more than between 40-80 grams of carbs per day.

Of course! I am cutting bodyfat, so I want the ketosis. I can't wait to
get back to lots of fruit and veggies. Paleo is not a low-carb, nor is it
high carb. The idea of Paleo is to eat what comes natural. That includes
veggies and fruits, or meat and fat, or both.
