I have found the FAN conferences to be very informative and well-run,
extremely well organized.  I have attended the last two conferences and walked
away both times with lots of new information.  The presenters are all experts
in their respective fields.

I've been able to drive each time and so there has been minimal cost to me.  I
think it would be worthwhile for me to attend had I not attended before but if
I had to incur significant travel expenses as you will have to then I would
probably just go to one rather than each year.
