: Our experience is quite a bit different than what I've read in
: response to the initial question. Our son (almost 7 years) is
: analphylactic to milk. He has a remarkable ability to concentrate for
: very long periods of time, is very bright, focused, and perceptive to
: his surroundings. He's a very dreamy child (rich imagination) and
: we've found a school that's compatible with his being and our values
: (its a Waldorf/Rudloph Steiner school).

My experience, also, is different. Alyssa is a very bright, calm and happy
child. She leans more towards the Montessori style, than Waldorf, though!
She is allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts (and mildly to soy). We practice
a strict elimination diet for these foods. Her physical symptoms would
not allow any behavioural ones to appear, since they are extreme and sudden!
