A nice thought, but unfortunatly Americans are too fickle to maintain the
long process that would be needed to change the most rudimentary aspects of
their election system. I can't even imagine a movemnet that would change
constitution (ie to remove the electoral collage). Some may carry the fight
on, but I suspect that it will quickly fade, and by January they will all be
caught-up in "Super-Bowl fever" with the election problems long-forgotten.
