Hello,
I am recently unable to boot completely using Windows 95 OSR2 on a
Packard Bell P200 machine. This has been a problem that I thought had been
taken care of, with a newly installed MB but I just got it back and went into
boot and the same thing occurred. What happens is this:
All hardware is seen, drivers are found, but when the wallpaper appears
the message appears is "Explorer caused an exception 6d007fH in module
Kernel32.DLL at 014f:bff9a3co." Pressing ctrl-alt-del shows no running
programs. Norton AV is installed on this machine.
I believe I have options such as 1) check the memory modules 2)unplug
the CDROM and boot 3)unplug the floppy and boot 4) fdisk and reinstall.
At this point I wouldn't mind just wiping the whole drive and
reinstalling, so what are the chances that it is a corrupt file? And if
this is
probably the way to go, what would be the correct procedure for a reinstall?
Thanks!
Julie Shanks
