Recent research has found that behind allergies lies the fact that we
come in contact with too little bacteria/virus. Our environment is too
clean. Search for an article named "Let them eat dirt".
I do not think that a paleo diet will help more than marginally. What
helps is growing up in a paleo environment, but that will at the same
time result in more infections. The choice is between pest and colera :-)
Personally I have lost my banana allergy, but everything else remaines
the same, or more problems with apples and nuts, since I eat more of
those now.
