I use it because I don't like the quality of saturated fat in meat today.  I
buy organic meats but they're still fatter in saturated fat than any animal
of paleo days.  Even making sure to trim the meat well there is plenty of
saturated fat in our meat.  Any residue of hormone or antibiotic resides in
the fat of the meat.  Oliva
P.S.  Don't keep oil at room temp.  Keep it in the fridge.
