Another trick is to be sure to have enough magnesium to balance calcium, and get

a high-quality calcium-magnesium supplement.  Dolomite (a low-quality
supplement),
for example,  just runs right through you without being absorbed.
Some supplements have cofactors that help with calcium absorption: boron, Vit D,
and
zinc, and this certainly helps me.  Magnesium:calcium ratio in your daily intake

should be at least 1:2 and could be as high as 1:1.
