First of all, this is not "another view". This is the official view of the US government and the elite classes of the US.
I do agree with llevitt that the theory that the WTC bombing was done by Bush seems about as plausible as the theory that it was done by Mosad with the approval of US Jews. There is no doubt, however, that fascists all over the world are using this as pretext for attacking their enemies and for reducing civil liberties for non-elites.
While I agree with most of Bill Bartlett's critique of llevitt, I disagree with his equation of Zionism with Nazism. I am not a Zionist and I do not support the fanatical assertions of Zionists that God gave that land to them, but Zionists, to my knowledge, have never suggested that Jews should rule the world, nor have they argued that some racial or religious groups should be the targets of a “final solution.”
There is a significant difference between opposition to US/Israeli policy and anti-Semitism, a difference (I am sad to say) that is frequently ignored by Leftist commentators as well as by the Nazis. Jews do not now, nor have they ever controlled US foreign policy. It is Israel that is the client state of the US, and the tail does not wag the dog. I recommend that Bartlett, llevitt and all others who haven’t done so already read at least one of Chomsky’s many commentaries on Israel/Palestine.
