Good Morning Everyone!

My question was (how many weeks ago?) - what was an appropriate dosage
of acidophilus to help with constipation and heal the intestine? These
were the answers I received, which, as always, are very greatly
appreciated!

One person takes Ultra DuoDophilus by Great Earth - www.greatearth.com.
It depends on the brand and if one is trying to clear something up or
maintain.

One takes the daily minimal dosage of the mineral magnesium for
constipation - not to be taken at the same time one takes calcium.

One takes one glutamine capsule and one acidophilus capsule with each
meal. The acidophilus should come with several strains of bacteria and
not require refrigeration so you can carry it with you.

One takes three (3) acidophilus tabs of the highest gf potency between
meals - Metagencis makes a good brand. (Note: I didn't know if this
meant three capsules at one time between meals, or one capsule between
meals to equal three capsules total.) I would suggest reading labels and
using common sense on this.

Again, thanks to all who responded - many people were anxious for
guidance on this issue.

Ayn.
