Dear Listmates: I first sent this questions a couple of days ago and it
hasn't shown up yet so decided to resend. Forgive me if you end up getting
it twice.

Thanks to the help I have received from all you guys my candida is improving.
Now for a new problem. I have been a vegetarian for many (like 30) years
and have been advised by my dr. that adding meat now with gut problems would
be ill advised. So since I have eliminated all sugar (including all fruit),
dairy, potatoes, tomatoes, yeast, all baked goods, nuts, nut butters, etc. to
get rid of the candida I am down to vegetables, rice and water.

I am losing weight daily and am getting almost back to where I started with
celiac weight wise. Less than 100 pounds and I am 5 foot 7 inches.

Can anyone give me suggestions to how to help my weight? I checked all the
supplements that I have used in the past but they are loaded with sugar.

Can I use some sugar on the candida diet? If so how much? I am taking only
the label recommended amount of acidophilus (which is 2 billion once a day)
as my dr. said and also this is what my "Prescription For Nutritional
Healing" says. Others on this list have recommended a lot more. Can you od
on acidophilus? If I take more acidophilus can I then use a supplement with
some sugar in it?

Thanks for your help.
