I agreed with every word you said on the last post of yours Diana.
I felt compelled only to respond to the above lines.

 I personally would prefer
the company of animals over people any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
They are pure, they never lie, cheat or steal with maliciousness. They do not
murder for sport ( hunting to eat is not sport). They take responsibility for
their young and carry themselves in the world. They do not blame their
weaknesses on others, and do not spend their lives whining about it and
making excuses. They do not take pleasure in deliberatly causing others
pain just for the fun of it. They are not hypocrites in a world of finger
pointers.

Yes, people's sentiments are misplaced. They are placed with themselves.
The mind-numbing selfishness of the "quiche-eaters" I have to contend with
would boggle your mind. People that scream and holler when an animal is
hit by a car, but begrudge an old homeless woman sleeping under their
stairs during a rain storm in January. It's enough to make you wanna pick up
an uzi.

If human beings acted more like human beings, we would be superior to animals.
Until that day, although I eat them, I will always consider them superior to
me.

Sorry for the soapbox.

Anna
