Here's kathy's report about the introduction of talking atm's in
Pennsylvania. Once you have tried one, you will discover that the
excitement about these machines and the independence they offer is sure
contagious.

Hi. I just wanted to report that I have used the Mellon talking ATM, and
it works very well, You can use any walkman-style headset. It begins
instructions as soon as the headset is plugged in, and as soon as the card
is inserted it begins the specific prompts needed to complete your
transaction. I have both made withdrawals and deposited funds, and both
transactions worked flawlessly and took no longer than regular use of the
machines. The prompts have been changed to only use the number keypad,
which makes the process simpler. Although this may not be necessary, it
works fine. I cannot think anything bad to say--just keep those machines
coming. Cathy
