I would think new Main Board as well... But  with the last K6-2 400 systems I built last week, I had 2 CPU's that were bad. Brand new never before used.. Quite strange since I have never found a new CPU to be bad, especially 2 in a row. One of the bad ones acted like the timing issues for k6-2 350+ cpu's on OSR2, (not the case) and the other would not even post.
So You may want to check out both main board and CPU!
