Has anyone noticed that no companies seem to offer Docking stations for
their notebooks anymore? I don't mean port replicators. Those are all over
the place. I'm talking about full sized docking stations where you can add
regular desktop expansion cards. Micron was the last company I saw that
offered these and even they've stopped. Does anyone know of of any
device/hardware/gadget that still allows a standard ISA or PCI type card to
interface with a notebook. Are there any pcmcia cards that allow for this?
Any third party companies that still make docking stations for different
brands of notebooks? Any suggestions? At this point, my notebook is my
fastest computer and it would be nice if it could fully double as my desktop
but there are just some things they don't make for notebooks (voodoo video
cards, real soundcards, high end scsi cards, etc.) It's feels sick using all
this stuff in a P200 desktop with a PII 366 notebook sitting beside me, but
right now, I don't have any option.

Thanks for your time.
