It will work, but first make sure you have a system disk (floppy) with
cd-rom drivers on it and you can boot from it and access CD-Rom.
BTW, yesterday I did almost the same thing as you plan to - moved all
my partitions, C: to F:, 1 Gb up my hard-drive to make space for a new
DOS6 primary partition. Worked like magic :) [it was version 4.0]
