I have I similar challenge. My Fiancée likes junk food, and high carb stuff. no
vegetables either. I am the cook, out of the two of us. What I do is make a main
course that we both like, and then add a side dish for each of us that is
different. Last night I made steaks. I just had my steak with some juice, but for
her, I made french fries. Sometimes I make a real hearty tomato-meat
sauce.(some may call it chili, but being a Texan, I follow very stringent guidelines
for defining something as chili.) anyway- I get this tasty 8-ingredient mushroom
romato sauce at Whole Foods, and about a pound and a half of ground meat. I
cook the meat like taco meat, adding water. When that is finished, I pour the
whole jar of souce in, and cook it down. I add lots of cayenne pepper. I will eat
that alone, but for my fiancée I boil up some spaghetti. I usually cook in this
manner. I dont mind cooking tasty food that is non-paleo- I am so happy about
losing fat of my belly, that Ill never go back to modern food.
