I have a friend with ADHD and I converted him to a low carb diet (not paleo,
just low carb). When he sticks to it he does a lot better, basically no
apparent cognitive problems. By its very nature a low carb diet is fairly
close to paleo in many respects (no grains, potatos, milk, etc). He does,
however eat dairy (other than milk, I believe) such as cheeses and cream.
This would be the main difference between his diet and a typical paleo diet.
I don't know if he does well because he limits carbs or because he limits
non-paleo food (unintentionally).
