Sounds exactly like the symptoms I exhibited as a
child, including the constant ear infections, strep
and tonsillitis. Unfortunately I am a 70's baby and
from the end of the drink milk or die era so I was
exposed contantly. Reactions included severe mood
swings; violent (i mean really bad) headaches,
migraines and cluster headaches; big sores that would
not heal for months on the inside of my knees
(eczema); and the ever famous major stomach cramps
(no diarrhea, milk has the opposite effect on my gut).

I have been milk free for 5 yrs and have never felt
better. I naturally avoided milk for most of my
life, mostly because I don't like it, and was not
often exposed to any more than the trace amounts in
some foods.

Please note that the headaches & mood swings were
constant and debilitating through out my life.
When we would go to a party or eat out I would always
become so tired, cranky, headachey, and ill feeling
that we would force ourselves to stay through cake
and leave as soon as possible.

I originally began eliminating milk from my diet as a
migraine trigger, at that time I noticed my moods
were MUCH better, my eczema cleared up and I stopped
getting sick all the time. I talked to an allergist
and read a lot before we determined (despite negative
skin tests) that I AM allergic. The only symptom I
did not seem to have was asthma. I did however
suffer from panic attacks and difficulty breathing
(generally the day after a party/dine out).

I now carry an epi-pen and have had anaphylactic
reactions. I also get very confused and disoriented
after I am exposed. I have to say that I spent most
of my life suffering from a food allergy because my
dad was a "you're not sick, it's all in your head"
kind of guy. Thank God I wasn't anaphylactic then.

Sorry for the long post, Kristin - I hope this helps.
