Kraft Foods' Cool Whip can "get away with this" for the simple reason that
they do _not_ make a non-dairy claim anywhere on their packaging.  On the
contrary, Cool Whip is clearly labeled KD (for Kosher Dairy and has on its
ingredients list, in accordance with federal labeling law, sodium caseinate
(a milk derived ingredient) in bold face type. It also helpfully notes that
it contains 0 grams of lactose.

This is not the first time that this particular bit of misinformation has
appeared on this list.  I urge everyone on the list to check _current_
packaging before making a claim for or against any product.
