At least they are now labeling sodium caseinate with '(a milk
derivative)'...I remember when I was first diagnosed with an allergy to
milk protein, and my doctor gave me a list of substances to look out for,
including any form of casein or caseinate -- not ONE so-called
'non-dairy' product put the disclaimer '(a milk derivative)' after
caseinate, and I asked then how they got away with labeling it as
'non-dairy'...
