For those in need of cake/cupcake recipes, an easy way out: try some of Duncan
Hines cake mixes. Several are milk-free, including chocolate, yellow and
lemon. In fact, some of the D. Hines' frostings are also milk-free. Just be
sure to check the ingredients before using!
We've been using them for years because of my 6 year old's anaphylactic
allergy to milk. No problems with any of them yet. Just be sure to buy the
right ones; because some have milk.
