I have a compaq presario 2266 I was given a cyrix pr333 cpu. I have been to
the compaq forum to get the jumper settings for the cpu. I tried the jumper settings to no avail. I couldn't get the computer to read the 333cpu. I can't
get faster than the oringal 225. I was told that I need to upgrade my cmos.
compaq hasn't been any help in that area either. has anyone done this on a 2266?
any help would be aprecated.
