It will work as long as:
1) BIOS supports it and turned on (like you did)
2) BIOS has to detect the CDROM at boot, therefore, use "AUTO" detect for IDE
devices, otherwise it won't see the CD.
3) The CD disk has to be bootable, eg Win98, NT4 (win95 is not)
