  Screen: DSTN (Compaq LTE 5150, P-100)

  Symptom: After boot-up, the screen shows stripes on the lower half
  which changes in a minute or two to black (except for 1-inch of white on
  the left side).

  Question: Does this indicate a toasted screen, is it a loose connection,
  or is it an internal problem?  Thanks very much for the feedback.
