PII-400 has 512K L2 cache running at 200 MHz.
Celeron-400 has 128K L2 cache running at 400 MHz.
Experience to date seems to suggest that smaller-faster cache is
often better.
PII-400 is 4.0x100.
Celeron-400 is 6.0x66.
Memory accesses not handled by cache will be faster on PII.
PII is SMP-enabled.
Celeron is SMP-capable, with surgery (not recommended for business)
Not relevant with the board you've selected, but helps explain the
price difference.
