Most motherboards are designed to be grounded via at least one of
these attachment points. It's *likely* to also be grounded through
some other connections (power supply, back of case), but those may not
be as reliable.
My concern was that IFF your machine was assembled like the one I
saw, there would be a risk of grounding points/components on the mobo
which are NOT designed to be grounded. Apparently this isn't what you
have, so it doesn't apply.
