40 % of canola seeds produced in canada this year is genetically
engineered. when you see at this site
http://www.aphis.usda.gov/bbep/bp/rapeseed.html
how the brassica family species can readely crosspollinate each over, it
make me wonder about the risk of messing up with the gene pool of a number
vegetable. Just for this reason i will look twice before using canola oil.
When i came in North america i was looking for any seeds that i could find
and eat raw. Canola didn't get my interest because of its hard shell that
make shewing them tasteless. (and i am not picky about sorting out seeds
from their shells)
