It is not a fact. Those studies that correlated calcium loss with high
protein diets used isolated, fractionated animo acids from milk or eggs.
Studies using meat did not find this, as long as people were getting at
least 400 mg of calcium. And some suggest that we should be especially
leery of whey protein, though I have no studies on this.
