Forgive me if this message may not be appropriate for this list, but I believe it is. We constantly mention on this list about how today's foods are different than Paleo times, and it appears that the bio-tech industry is drastically accelerating the pace by which too much of the food available to us, whether processed or not, has been genetically altered to be different than it was meant to be in nature.

Yesterday, on a New York area AM radio station (1050-WEVD), on the Jay Diamond Talk Show, there was a representative for "The Alliance for Bio Integrity" who represents a group who vehemently opposes the genetic altering of foods. For an opposing view, they also had some representative of food companies who claims that genetically engineered foods are absolutely safe and feels there should be no reason to have to label and identify food products accordingly.
