IT is over a year since my dx, by biopsy. My symptoms were mainly a little
bloating and anemia. I am one of those overweight celiac, both before and
after diagnosis. I have had trouble complying with the diet as I don't feel
much better with or without gluten!

Through reading this list I have heard frequent mentions of high protein, low
carb eating. I have been following Protein Power for two weeks and feel the
best I have in years! It is easy to stay gluten free as most proteins-eggs,
meat, fish, etc., are gluten free. It is easier for me to ignore the cookies,
and junk than spend time looking for substitutes. I remembered that years ago
I used to follow the original Atkins diet and always felt great -- now I know
why -- there was no gluten! I am hypothyroid too, and have read that we do
better with high protein. I encourage others to try this WOE!

Jane
