Since going GF a few years ago, I found Nature's Path Honey'd Corn Flakes a
good choice for a breakfast cereal. A few months ago, a local health food
store had large boxes of Nature's Path Corn Flakes on sale at a good price
so I stocked up. Over the past few months, my stomach has been pretty
sensitive and my intake of antacids and acid suppressors had gone up
significantly. My mind was fuzzier than usual.

My supply of corn flakes was running low last week so I went out to
restock. Large boxes were on sale again. Great - but this time I looked at
the ingredients. Lo and behold, I find that Nature's Path Corn Flakes
contain BARLEY MALT, listed right there on the ingredients panel for all to
see.

Silly me, I was assuming that I was just buying a larger size box of the
same cereal, since the boxes are visually similar except for size. Not true.
Nature's Path Honey'd Corn Flakes state they are gluten-free on the box and
list no suspect ingredients on the label. My mistake entirely.

Oh well. My stomach feels fine now and I've learned a lesson and wanted to
share it in case others have gotten lax about carefully reading labels.

Joel
