Recently version 1.18 of The vOICe Learning Edition
software has become available from the web page

   http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Peter_Meijer/winvoice.htm

The software translates video from a PC camera into
corresponding sound. See also the recent Wired News
article at the web page

   http://www.wired.com/news/news/technology/story/16454.html

The new release has extended zoom and GUI sonification
options. It also fixes video format problems that some
users had reported with certain brands of cameras.

Best wishes,

Peter Meijer
