I added memory to two Compaq computers- a 486 and a 100 Pentium. Both times
I bought the memory from CompUSA- I just told them what I had and they
looked it up and gave me the right SIMMs. They do mostly take a particular
type of Dimm/Simm and CompUSA was able to provide those (both computers
were fairly new at the time). You could probably get them from other
vendors, I just happened to use Comp USA .
