I am in a work situation in which I have bbraille files which are
translated, formatted and ready to go. All that is needed is that the
files be sent, ass they are, to the braille printer, embosser. Suffice it
to say that the software which is being used to emboss the material is a
translator which does not appear to have the facility to do this; it
always assumes that the work loaded in it must be translated and
reformatted.
What windos facility can be used to send my files directly to the printer
without interference of translators or formatters? Will the windows "send
to printer" in win explorer or "my computer" accomplish this?
One step better: How can I specify multiple copies if needed?
I know that notepad and word will certainly print files, but I have found
that, even when I select generic printer and attempt to minimize page
formatting, notepad has a mind of its own. Perhaps I'm missing something.
I have been completely successful with the DOS program, Q Edit. But
for the sake of others, and for my own edification, I want to find a
simple solution within windows.
Help
appreciated. I need
to know what to tell the other people working with me on this problem.
